This conference is about developing in our personal life and our Church life, this attitude of willing repentance.

This conference isn’t about what “irons that we should have in the fire;” or any political agenda, liberal or conservative. Instead this conference is about, “Lighting the Fire!”

A fire we have let either burn down or go out completely.

It’s an understanding that revival begins with prayer and repentance, not with a program.

Psalm 51:17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord. – Methodist Hymnal
